Mira Zeffren – A New Spinka Indictment

Luke Ford writes:

Mira Zeffren is the president of the Kyffin Pharmacy at 6000 Woodman Avenue, Van Nuys, CA, 91401.

There’s a hearing to revoke Mira’s pharmacy license.

The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California has indicted Mira Zeffren for conspiracy to subscribing to a false income tax return.

Here’s some background on the Spinka money laundering case.

Jan. 25, Failed Messiah reported on her arrest at a haredi wedding. I added this.

Lara Logan's Assault Feb. 11 - Islam

Parts of her body were covered in red marks, a source said. They were originally thought to have been caused by bites, but on examination proved to have been made by aggressive pinching.

“Lara is getting better daily,” said a friend. “The psychological trauma is as bad as, if not worse than, the physical injuries. She might talk about it at some time in the future, but not now.”

Lara Logan's Assault Feb. 11 Tahrir Square

Luke Ford writes:

The Australian reports:

A US TV journalist attacked in Cairo’s Tahrir Square was stripped and beaten with fists and the poles of hand-held flags, US sources say.

Lara Logan, 39, a correspondent on the CBS News show 60 Minutes, was recovering in private with her husband, Joseph Burkett, their son and her stepdaughter.

Parts of her body were covered in red marks, a source said. They were originally thought to have been caused by bites, but on examination proved to have been made by aggressive pinching.

Last year, I was so exhausted going into the conference that I didn’t get as much out of it as I would’ve liked.

This year, a week before the show, I wrote down a note to “Take speed at LimmudLA.”

I meant sudafed, which I took for a couple of months last fall for nasal congestion. It’s legal speed and I kept a supply in the drawer, shlepped them to LimmudLA, and every morning over the weekend, popped a couple and then went for a 30-minute walk looking for sunshine.

I felt good all conference!

Jonah Lowenfeld reports:

In his hour-long talk, Lawton said that for most of the second half of the 20th century, America and Israel had dominated the discourse about the future of Judaism and ignored European Jewry. Israel put forward a “nationalization” model for Judaism—the religion would be taken care of by central authorities—while America pushed its highly individualistic model in which any practice, no matter how unusual, could be called Jewish, and no authority had the right to call someone’s Jewishness into question.

Lara Logan's Sexual Assault: Al Jazeera Silent

Luke Ford writes:

From the Washington Post:

“I was curious how they would handle the Lara Logan incident,” Chamberlain continued. “Go here http://english.aljazeera.net/ and search ‘Lara Logan.’ ” When you do it, your reaction might be the same as mine to Chamberlain, “um…..crickets.” There was and continues to be nothing there. Or at al-Jazeera’s Arabic-language site.

By contrast, the New York tabloids were all over the story:

Pigford Black Farmers Reparation Scam - Andrew Breitbart Investigates

Luke Ford writes:

My friend Andrew Breitbart has been investigating this story for months.

The National Review reports:

Though Breitbart says the biggest revelations are yet to come, he has coauthored a report detailing some of the crime that has been directly tied to Pigford. The most sensational example comes from 2006, when a Mississippi couple was sentenced to life in prison on conspiracy charges in the murder of Clovis Reed, who had plotted with the couple to make fraudulent Pigford claims and who they feared would testify against them in court. The year before, two college administrators in Arkansas were convicted of attempting to fraudulently claim $400,000 after they attended a meeting whose organizers told them the settlement was a “veiled way to collect reparations for centuries-old grievances.”

Lara Logan's Sexual Assault: Questions Remain

Luke Ford writes:

A group of women rescued her with the help of the Egyptian army? Where was the army while the attack was going on? Who were the 200 men who attacked Lara Logan? The story from CBS News seems inadequate to what happened.

RedState.com reports:

From the beginning the “official” story from CBS smelled like week old fish remains. The story as CBS told it consisted of three primary parts:

1. A “dangerous element of 200″ surrounded Logan and her team.
2. She was separated from her team and brutally assaulted.
3. A “group of women and about 20 Egyptian solders” rescued her.

Christopher Teras Makes Big Bucks Importing Cheap Foreign Labor

Luke Ford writes:

There are legal ways to bring in cheap labor from overseas to do brutal work for low wages.

Immigration attorneys typically make at least $20,000 per immigrant (because the application process is labor-intensive) who then work for close to minimum wage.

According to Wikipedia: “ProjectUSA is an immigration reduction political advocacy group. According to the group’s website, it is “a nonprofit social advocacy group based in Washington, DC and dedicated to raising public debate about the important issue of mass immigration. We advocate ending illegal immigration, reducing legal immigration to traditional, sustainable levels, and a ten year time-out while the country reassesses immigration in terms of the long-term consequences of present policy.”"

ProjectUSA.org reports:

I first picked up the Agriprocessors story in May, 2004.

Lara Logan's Sexual Assault News Coverup

Luke Ford writes:

On his radio show Feb. 16, Dennis Prager said: “This story should be widely reported.”

He read from the the New York Post article.

Dennis: “I think the biggest story here is why CBS did not report it originally. I want to know why CBS didn’t report it. Their chief foreign correspondent is attacked and sexually assaulted by 200 men, God only knows what that means, and sustained serious injuries, and CBS did not report it, that’s a serious story.”

Melissa Scott - Very Hot Pastor With XXX Past

Luke Ford writes: The pastor finally confesses, sort of, to Marie Claire magazine, that she was the nude model Barbie Bridges.

Here is my previous coverage of Melissa Scott.

I only tell this story — not to get hits to my website — but to share an inspiring example of God’s grace, the way He can reach down and lift up the greatest of sinners.

Lara Logan In Danger Of Copycat Attacks

Luke Ford writes:

Daniel Bates writes for the Mail Online:

The sex assault on Lara Logan could ‘turn her into a target’ for future attacks, her former boss warned today.

Janet Leissner, who ran the CBS Washington bureau for eight years until 2009, told MailOnline that the foreign correspondent was at risk of copycat attacks now that she is ‘very well known’.

She also urged Miss Logan to ‘take a strong measure of herself’ before going back to war reporting and to consider the welfare of her two young children, her husband and her ‘responsibilities as a mother’.

Dennis Prager On Lara Logan's Sexual Assault

Luke Ford writes:

On his radio show Feb. 16, Dennis Prager said: “This story should be widely reported.”

He read from the the New York Post article.

“It is not possible to describe the intensity of anti-Semitism in the Arab world. The Jew-hatred is so great that the worst epithet, worse than dog which is considered a very bad thing in Arab culture, is Jew. The Jew is the scum of the earth throughout the Arab world, particularly east of Morocco. That’s what they’ve been fed since 1948. One can only imagine what the invasion of Israel would entail, the sadism.

“And these are the democracy guys. These are the folks who won. This is after Mubarak resigned.

“We will not rest until we find out why this story stayed quiet.”

“This story is so huge, I can’t get it out of my head… She was attacked sexually by more than 200 men.”

“Tom Friedman is ecstatic about the young people at Tahrir Square. They want liberty.”

“Jew means we can do whatever we want to you because the view of Jews in the Arab world is entirely similar to the view of Jews in Nazi Germany. The media have done an effective job in dehumanizing Jews. Jew means you have lost your humanity, hence you can be treated in a dehumanized manner. That’s one of the many reasons I don’t share any of the mainstream media’s optimism about Egypt. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see the slightest evidence for it.”

News Media's Fascination With Lara Logan's Sex Life

Luke Ford writes:

Lara Logan’s employer broke this news with her permission. Then it ended with a plea for privacy for Lara and an announcement that Lara and CBS News would have nothing further to say about the story.

But how would Lara Logan and CBS News react to somebody who chose to publicly release a story that most people would want to keep private and then plea for privacy and say they will have no further comment? No self-respecting journalist would have a bar of it.

Lara Logan's Cairo Sexual Assault - Was It Rape?

Luke Ford writes:

The New York Post reports:

“60 Minutes” correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, “Jew! Jew!” as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s main square Friday, CBS and sources said yesterday.

The TV crew with Logan, who is also the network’s chief foreign correspondent, had its cameras rolling moments before she was dragged off — and caught her on tape looking tense and trying to head away from a crowd of men behind her in Tahrir Square.

…A network source told The Post that her attackers were screaming, “Jew! Jew!” during the assault. And the day before, Logan had told Esquire.com that Egyptian soldiers hassling her and her crew had accused them of “being Israeli spies.” Logan is not Jewish.

Lara Logan Gang-Raped In Cairo

Luke Ford writes:

Why would a news organization send a hot chick former model into such a dangerous situation?

I guess they don’t want to discriminate against hotness even when that hotness will likely get their reporter into trouble.

According to the New York Daily News: “At least 140 reporters have been injured or killed covering Egypt since Jan. 30, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists.”

That shows you what a moral cesspool Egypt is. I wonder if it will develop a thriving democracy?

(CBSNews):

On Friday February 11, the day Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes” story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.

Unhappy Tenants At BRE Properties Aqua Complex Marina Del Rey

Luke Ford writes:

Here are my previous reports on this.

I wrote a few months ago about the fall of real estate developer Laurence Gluck and the unhappy residents of the AQUA apartment complex at 4750 Lincoln Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292.

Aqua was formerly Marina Terrace & Archstone & Fiji Villas & Chateau Marina.

Aqua is managed and owned by BRE Properties. BRE Properties is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Yahoo summary.

Here's a BRE building a mile away with similar complaints about BRE.

An unhappy tenant emails me: "There have been 4-5 break-ins to units and cars just over the last 2 weeks and BRE will not increase Security. One tenant had his remote stolen during the theft and BRE wanted to charge him $50 to replace it. When he got upset he was then brought into the office and lectured by our very unpleasant
Assistant Manager on how to treat people. Two other tenants…just last week…had their personal belongings stolen off their first floor
balconies. And a crowbar was used to break in to a unit on Monday.

I have seen a student crying because of how she was treated and an elderly man being completely ignored and blown off. The tenants have taken to video taping these incidents and will be putting them up on YouTube and I know that the press have received the petition with over 125 signatures.

Chandler Convalescent Hospital North Hollywood CA 91607

Luke Ford writes:

I hope I don’t end up in a nursing home. I hope I don’t end up at Chandler Convalescent Hospital (5335 Laurel Canyon Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91607).

Calqualitycare.org rates it one star out of five and says its quality of care is “poor.”

Chandler Convalescent is owned by Sanford Deutsch, who’s about 80. His late wife Beverly was a patient for more than two years at Chandler. She was hit by a bus a few years ago and sued General Motors.

Sanford Deutsch is moving into Beverlywood with his new wife.

Sanford was a big macher in Jewish Los Angeles. He was a lay leader of the Orthodox Union. He led Congregation Sharei Tefilah at Poinsettia and Beverly Blvd. He led the JNF.

Sanford’s son Mark runs Chandler Convalescent.

The place is a mess. The staff frequently get paid late. They have problems getting banks to take their checks, so instead they’re limited to a couple of check cashing outlets. Better get your check cashed quickly before the account runs out.

In response, much of the care is shoddy. It’s not unusual for the staff to fall asleep on the job.

A patient fell and died a couple of months ago. I wonder if a more attentive staff would’ve prevented his death?

Chandler Convalescent mainly employs Filipinos and Guatamalans.

It would take a man of great moral character to restrain himself from taking his sexual pick of the staff. Particularly if you own apartments and homes where you can house the more attractive ones.

Lindsay Lohan's Designer White Dress Sold Out!

Luke Ford writes:

Lindsay Lohan has been studying kabbalah for years. She even wears that red string on her wrist.

She was spotted in the parking lot of the Jewish Learning Academy for Rosh Hashanah two years ago. She’s sought counsel from the rabbi there.

The white dress she wore to court is now sold out!

Gawker reports: The white “Glavis” dress that Lindsay Lohan wore for her latest court date yesterday (yes, the one that looked like a doily that shrunk in the crotch) was so popular that it is completely sold out, according to designer Kimberly Ovitz. Let’s see if she’ll have the same effect on orange jump suits in a month.

Egytians Want To Be Free! Hosni Mubarak Steps Down!

Dictator Hosni Mubarak has stepped down in Egypt.

It appears the military is taking over. The military can be expected to retain the peace deal with Israel and to stay an ally of the United States.

I feel like that character in the movie Brief Interviews With Hideous Men who spontaneously exclaims “Victory to the Forces of Democratic Freedom” whenever he has an orgasm.

Charles Krauthammer writes:

We need a foreign policy that not only supports freedom in the abstract but is guided by long-range practical principles to achieve it – a Freedom Doctrine composed of the following elements:

(1) The United States supports democracy throughout the Middle East. It will use its influence to help democrats everywhere throw off dictatorial rule.

Hooking Up With High School Girls - Not Road To Lasting Happiness

Pundit - Author S.E. Cupp Disgusted When You Look At Her With Lust

Luke Ford writes:

From my Monday interview:

Luke: "How do you react when you feel that a man is looking at you with lust? Are you horrified, disgusted, appalled?"

SE: "Yeah. Disgusted. This is not a unique situation. Women in Manhattan are objectified walking down the street every day. A broad spectrum of women get looked at. It’s, yeah, disgusting. That doesn’t do anything for me. That doesn’t excite me. I know women who use it as a barometer for how good they’re looking that day. Eww! It gives me the creeps. I don’t enjoy it at all. There’s not a single ounce of enjoyment that I get from that."

Luke Ford Sobers Up After Another Day Of Crashing, Burning

Luke Ford writes:

I charge into life because I’m a man of great enthusiasm with frequent delusions of grandeur. I see these visions where I am a great man and they intoxicate me and make me forget all of my shame.

I want to charge ahead because I feel so full of myself. I feel confident, arrogant, untouchable. I’m the new sheriff in town.

I get all these pre-programmed ideas for what I’m going to say and do when people have no choice but to be in my presence.

So when I finally get the opportunity to interact with people, much of the time I’m acting. I’m not real. I’m spouting all these memorized lines that I thought were just so funny when I was at the peak of my bipolar cycle.

And then I slam into the wall and crash and burn.

G-day, I'm Luke Ford.

Conversational Hypnosis Real? Can You Put People In Trances?

Hi, I'm Luke Ford.

You might have seen me on 60 Minutes or Entertainment Tonight or E! True Hollywood Story (11/5/00) or ABC News (9/11/07) or perhaps you read about me in the New York Times or the Los Angeles Times.

I've been blogging for a living since 1997.

I just bought Blogging to the Bank 2011 for $37 and I heartily recommend it. It's the best book out there for making a living blogging.

For the past month, I’ve been looking around Clickbank.com for information products to promote (the marketer gets on average 50% of the purchase price) and discovered that many of the metrics on Subliminal MP3s look great.

(If you want to know more about these key metrics for finding lucrative products to promote online, I recommend this ebook.)

A check of Keyword Eye reveals that there are a lot of searches for topics such as “subliminal messages”, “hypnosis”, “hypnotic”, “hypnotize”, “how to hypnotize”, “hypno”, “hypnotism”, and all these terms show up green!

What does green mean here? Green in Keyword Eye means that there is low competition for these search terms.

But is there any money to be made from these search terms?

I use the Google Keyword tool and check that out.

Yes! There’s moderate advertiser competition for these keywords.

I go to Clickbank.com and put in “subliminals.” I find my way to this Subliminal MP3s store. You can get three free subliminal MP3s just by giving them an email address and a name. And if you buy some product, you get a 60-day moneyback guarantee (just like all Clickbank products). Because of this 60-day moneyback guarantee, I feel no conscience qualms about promoting any of Clickbank‘s products, including the ones for enlarging oneself intimately and the like. If you’re not fully satisfied, get a refund and keep your digital download!

But first, I need to talk about another Republican legislator (this time it is Chris Lee) caught with his shirt off.

I have often said inappropriate things to men and women. I am the king of inappropriate as my friends will tell you.

I have not, however, ever sent a naked photo of myself to anyone. I’ve never posed for a naked photo.

I am a man and I have some sympathy with Chris Lee. As a normal guy, he’s willing to do almost anything to have sex with a new body. Most men will do almost anything for a sexual conquest.

Many feminists get offended at the claim that the male sex drive is stronger, but when was the last time a woman threw her life away for sex with a stranger? I can’t think of any famous examples. Women will jeopardize life and career on occasion for an illicit relationship but they have to know the guy in question. I am thinking about the movies I Am Love and Unfaithful as examples of this. I can’t think of examples of women throwing it all away for sex with a stranger.

Luke Ford writes:

I talk to myself constantly and much of it is bloody stupid.

I was just lying down and thinking about my life and the dumb things I’ve told myself over the past forty years.

They include:

* You can get away with it!
* They’ll never know!
* You’re special!
* The rules don’t apply to you!
* I’m a writer and I can go anywhere and do anything because it is all for my art!
* There’s a new sheriff in town!
* This isn’t really cheating!
* I’ve changed!
* Why don’t they like me?
* It’s hopeless!
* I’m sunk!
* I’m invincible!
* More attention for me!
* Wouldn’t I look interesting if I went in this direction?

I went through feelings of frustration, anger and despair today/this week/year/decade as I struggle to belatedly take care of things I should’ve tackled decades ago.

We recruit people to fill 1000s of jobs for companies like this

every year.

Many of these jobs are simple online writing tasks, such as blogging

about a movie that you recently saw, commenting on what your opinion

is of a certain kind of car, proof reading simple documents and more!

These companies are fighting for exposure on the internet and know

the more people blogging about them, means the more exposure they

are going to get, and ultimately the more money they are going to make.

There has been an explosion in the need for online writers,

regardless of skill.  These companies are more interested in your

honest genuine opinions when you're writing blog entries about their

company... not if you are a very talented writer.

money on the side, please come check out the jobs we have available.

JP Morgan Makes Case For Mortgage Reform

Luke Ford writes:

JPMorgan Chase (JPM.N) Chief Executive Jamie Dimon emerged from the financial crisis of 2008 as America's most respected banker. He has done nothing since to lose that title.

So when Jamie Dimon speaks, people listen.

Reuters reports:

The second-largest U.S. bank holds billions in problem mortgages, even though Dimon is often credited for steering JPMorgan past the worst of the losses experienced by its peers during the financial crisis.
